Comfortable sized room with a touch of elegance. Comes with central heating, TV with various channels, and a desk for writing. the breakfast served here is fantastic! Although the service from one waitress wasn't the best 🙁.

The hotel was wonderful. Even though the rooms are small, but what they lack in size they make up for with style, taste, traditional charm. My favorite thing about the hotel was the fact it was in the perfect location for the stuff I wanted to do. I was in Sacramento for 4 days for the National Model Railway Convention at the Convention Center only 2 blocks away, so I was only 5 minutes away from the convention center. In the evenings after the train shows closed, there were movies I wanted to see so the hotel was also very close distance from the Capital Mall where Century Thearters is located. And I can not forget my favorite attraction in Sacramento, The California State Railroad Museum, the hotel is also not too far away from that either, it's only 8 blocks away, and there is a safe route to Old Sacramento through Capital Shopping Mall, and it only took me a 10 minute walk to get to the Museum. So everything I wanted and needed to do was within walking distance and for that I couldn't have stayed at a better place in terms of location.

There were very few flaws I found, but there are a few improvements that could happen. That bathrooms were very beautiful, and the shower was huge, however, I noticed that it used a curtain rather than a glass door, and that's fine because there wasn't enough room, however, the curtain rod was a conventional and not curved, so a curved shower rod would be a good improvement, but the curtain had a lot of charm, so I would only have the rod changed to a curved rod. That was not my least favorite part, my least favorite part of the hotel was the fact that the t.v. didn't have the options of ordering movies, and that's what I look for in a hotel, I like having the option to order a movie, but I didn't have that option on their t.v. so that would be something I would like to report

Well appointed room and decor. The Grange restaurant is also really good for breakfast - fresh food and fast service.

Hotel is very stylish with elegant, yet cosy rooms. Do visit their restaurant Grange - if for a drink or a meal. Price-value really excellent

This place is a stunning boutique hotel situated in a fantastic central location near all the government offices, making it convenient and accessible.

We stayed in Sacramento for the first time to attend a wedding. The Citizen Hotel was a great choice. It was convenient to freeways, close to restaurants, bars and the hotel and a very good restaurant and bar also. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly.

Our room was on the 7th floor. Although we had a nice view across from a park, there was loud music playing. Also, our room was across from a banquet hall which was busy with an event. In the evening, everything was quiet.

The location, the architecture. One thing that I did notice and this has nothing to do with the Citizen but there are an alarming number of homeless people in the vicinity.

Great spot with free Wi-Fi and a restaurant on site. the room is a good size and everything is well-organized with amazing park views 🌳.

No soda vending machines in the entire hotel. Not a deal breaker, but kind of annoying at 10:00pm when you want something to drink besides sink water.

The restaurant was ELEGANT with excellent food and service, I tried delicious dishes. The room design was unique and the beds were comfortable. Actually everything was amazing, my next choice again in Sacramento.
